Join the Evidence into Practice team for an introduction to data and evidence. This is a one-hour session outlining what data and evidence is, and how to find the best sources to present your work for an Evidence into Practice application.

Our facilitator Petra Downing, the Evaluation and Insight Programme Analyst at Health Innovation West of England, will guide us through the basics and provide prompts to help participants demonstrate the impact of their health and care innovations and how to best demonstrate the health improvements you are making. She will outline how to critically analyse data in order to understand the most credible and useful sources.

This workshop is suitable for those that are:

  • Interested in applying to the Evidence into Practice programme.
  • Unsure about the best data to use that will demonstrate the impact and benefits of your work.
  • Based in the West of England area.

What can participants hope to achieve by joining the workshop?

  • Improve their understanding of what data and evidence is.
  • Identify the best data and evidence to demonstrate the benefits of their work and support an Evidence into Practice application.

What can participants gain from attending the workshop?

  • Participants will increase their knowledge of data and evidence and will feel more confident to complete the Evidence into Practice application form.

However after attending this briefing you might also want to consider joining a drop-in application clinic to discuss your idea with Petra in detail.
