The 2015/16 year has seen significant progress in informatics strategy across the West of England region and we are now on the digital roadmap journey to achieving the targets as set out in the 5 Year Forward View and the National Information Board’s ‘Personalised Health and Care 2020: a framework for action.’ However there is still a long way to go to achieving a digital state which works for everyone. By combining our efforts we can help share the learning and knowledge which will make this journey easier and quicker.
On the day we will combine brief updates on digital progress from each of our health and social care communities with an agenda of wider strategic interest including research and information analysis opportunities, partnership development and guidance on locating funding sources. The day will also include the next face to face meeting of the emerging West of England Chief Clinical Information Officer network.
