“Great opportunity for patient-centred digital solutions - tools that directly reach women and communities, addressing needs that current systems struggle to meet.“
Tara Copps, Programme Assistant

The Women’s Digital Health Challenge 2025 aims to accelerate the development of patient-facing digital health solutions that address urgent priorities in women’s health. Delivered by Cogniss, the Health Innovation Network and Amazon Web Services (AWS), the 12-month programme will support a global cohort of innovators to build pilot-ready women’s health apps without code, supported with pathways to NHS adoption.

Who can apply?

This Challenge welcomes innovators of all backgrounds and genders, from around the world, with expertise in women’s health, technology or care delivery. You may be a researcher, clinician, entrepreneur, digital health team, non-profit, or health system leader with a strong proposal for impact in women’s health.

What type of innovations are they looking for?

Seeking patient-centred digital solutions, i.e. tools that directly reach women and communities, addressing needs that current systems struggle to meet.

These could include solutions that support early diagnosis, educational and informational resources, self-help and preventative tools, delivery of tailored interventions, or ongoing support between appointments and during recovery or rehabilitation.

What will winners receive?

Selected innovators will join a 12-month programme that turns their proposals into fully functioning, pilot-ready apps for patients. Cohort participants will:

  • Gain 12 months’ access to the Cogniss no-code platform to design, build, and refine their app in a secure, compliant environment.

  • Get their app published within a “super app” that’s available in app stores, enabling real-world testing, demonstrations to stakeholders and use for funding or pilot discussions.

  • Join a proven step-by-step app-build programme with training, guided milestones and expert support to ensure progress.

  • Receive technical, regulatory and adoption guidance from the Health Innovation Network, including pathways into NHS piloting and evaluation.

  • Benefit from mentorship, networking, and promotional opportunities.

Two winners will also receive dedicated media coverage and additional tailored Health Innovation Network support to fast-track adoption and reach.

Deadline for applications: Wednesday 29 October 2025
