Ask the Experts: Investment Readiness

‘Ask the Experts: Investment Readiness’ is the third in our series of funding webinar sessions. The series is designed to support innovators to secure vital funding and investment to grow and develop their products or services – increasing their confidence and skill in preparing for and completing funding applications.

Our ‘Investment Readiness’ event, welcomes three speakers from Innovate UK Business Growth, Qantx and Earswitch, who will share insights and answer questions about how to secure equity finance for health innovations.

Dr Ben Masheder, Funding and Finance Manager, is joining us from Innovate UK Business Growth (previously Innovate UK EDGE). They are a key part of the UK innovation agency’s deep investment in the pioneering businesses that drive economic growth. It is a publicly-funded service available to all high potential small to medium sized innovation-driven companies, including Innovate UK grant winners.

Dr Harry Alexander is Investment Manager at QantX, a group of experienced entrepreneurs, engineers, and executives investing in globally impactful businesses based in the South West. They focus on sustainability and modern healthcare, partnering with exceptional founders and supporting growth from seed stage to exit.

Dr Nick Gompertz is a former NHS doctor and now founder of EarSwitch™ and will share his investment journey as part of the development of a new method for reliable, inclusive medical and health monitoring from the ear through EarMetrics®.
