Improvement fundamentals developed by NHS England

Programme of online, self-directed mini-courses in quality improvement (QI) for those involved in heath or social care services. The programme covers four essential learning areas: quality improvement theory, quality improvement tools, measuring for quality improvement and spreading quality improvement.

Clinical Entrepreneur Programme

Available to clinical, NHS staff and wider health professionals to develop their entrepreneurial aspirations during their clinical training period. Training offers include funding for higher education, mentoring and time to complete entrepreneurial activities. Check the website for details on the application process.

South West Digital Health & Care Skills Development Network

The South West Digital Health & Care Skills Development Network, developed in conjunction with the West of England AHSN and supported by seed funding from Health Education England, aims to:

  • Share best practice, development opportunities and learning across organisations and the region
  • Collaborate with colleagues on joint programmes of work
  • Act as a regional interface with key professional bodies

Free learning events are bookable, and there are a large range of free Digital Health Skills Learning Resources.
