Event summary
We are delighted to invite you to the next online MatNeoSIP Patient Safety Network: Community of Practice on Thursday 21 March 2024.
This two-hour interactive session aims to build on our previous Patient Safety Collaborative events, with a focus on perinatal culture.
In anticipation of the digital MEWS implementation, we are hosting this workshop which will be a hands-on, informative and practical session for maternity and neonatal sessions.
We are delighted to be joined by James Coulson (Associate Medical Director Families Service Group, Somerset NHS Foundation Trust and Yeovil District Hospital National Clinical Advisor on Patient Safety, Health Education England) who will be leading a session on Human Factors in Escalation and Response and Hannah Rutter (Senior Improvement Lead, NHSE) who will provide updates and guidance on MEWS.
Join us in this friendly, informal, supportive space as we explore the challenges and triumphs in improving perinatal team culture and maternal safety.
The event will be co-hosted by Health Innovation West of England and Health Innovation South West and provides an opportunity for organisations to collaborate, learn and share from each other during the active phase of the programme.
